SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

These SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") explain the terms governing text messages sent by Backcountry Dental.
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Backcountry Dental, you agree to these SMS Terms.
1. Types of Messages
Depending on the consent you provide and your relationship with Backcountry Dental, SMS messages may include:
Appointment reminders
Appointment confirmations
Appointment scheduling and rescheduling communications
Office notifications and updates
Responses to patient questions or requests
General two-way communication
Information about dental services
2. Texting Cadence / Message Frequency
Msg frequency varies.
The number of messages you receive will depend on your appointments, and communications with our office.
Backcountry Dental does not guarantee a specific number of messages per month.
3. Message and Data Rates
Msg&data rates may apply.
Your mobile carrier may charge you for text messages or data according to the terms of your mobile service plan. Backcountry Dental is not responsible for carrier charges.
If you have questions about your carrier's rates or messaging plan, please contact your wireless provider.
4. How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages by providing your mobile telephone number and completing an applicable Backcountry Dental SMS consent process, including signing our Patient SMS Text Messaging Opt-In Agreement or providing consent through an authorized electronic or online method.
Providing a telephone number alone does not necessarily constitute consent to receive marketing text messages where separate consent is required.
5. How to Opt Out
You may stop receiving SMS messages at any time.
Reply STOP to opt out.
After you send STOP, you may receive a confirmation message. You will no longer receive messages from the applicable messaging program, except where permitted or required for necessary administrative or transactional communications.

If you change or transfer your mobile telephone number, please notify our office so that our records can be updated.

SMS availability may vary depending on your mobile carrier, device, geographic location, and other technical factors.
Backcountry Dental does not guarantee that every message will be successfully delivered.
12. No Guarantee of Delivery
Text messages may be delayed, interrupted, or not delivered due to circumstances outside Backcountry Dental's control, including wireless network limitations, technical problems, carrier restrictions, device issues, or other communication failures.
13. Changes to These Terms
Backcountry Dental may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Updated terms will be made available through the Backcountry Dental website and/or other appropriate communication channels.
